Shanghai 3D Magic Fun House combines novelty and imagination into one experience that offers guests a spectacular visual feast through unique acoustic and lighting effects. 4. Shanghai Natural Wildlife Insect Kingdom– The Shanghai province consists of this first living pet kingdom in China. The museum’s goal is to teach kids through engaging events and exhibits about the various kinds of natural ecosystems, insects, and other animals that call them home.

5. Century Park– Shanghai Century Park is an oasis of calm and greenery. With a total area of 140 hectares, it is the perfect spot to find serenity in a city like Shanghai. As you can expect, families with children and tourists alike absolutely adore the park.

People’s Park and People’s Square- Two museums—the Shanghai History Museum, the former Shanghai Art Museum, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Shanghai—as well as a fun fair and a sizable pond with a café-bar called Barbarossa are all located in the park. Donne Biryani– This biryani is actually more of a pulav where rice and marinated meat are cooked with a green masala and basic spices on firewood or coal. The rice used is short-grained and aromatic jeera samba, which is common in many biryani variants of South India, and known as chitti mutyalu in the Telugu states.

Thatte Idli– Also known as an idli (a steamed rice-based cake), is a well-known food that originated in Bidadi. The ratio of the ingredients (mostly rice and urad dal) varies a little for both the traditional and Thatte Idli, as does the Idli’s thickness. It is  every kid’s all time favorite.

Exploring the Less-Trodden Routes

As long as we’re talking about chocolate, we can’t leave out this particular Genevan tradition of smashing a chocolate cauldron! Smashing the chocolate cauldron is the big attraction of the L’Escalade Festival. This usually takes place in Old Town towards the start of December. 

It wasn’t until the 1880s that the custom of smashing a chocolate cauldron became a tradition. In the beginning, Genevan chocolatiers created chocolate cauldrons stuffed with delectable miniature marzipan vegetables to commemorate the occasion when common citizens defended their city.

Taking a Walk down Heritage
